Opening March 23
The Dallas Museum of Art will present Bluebonnets and Beyond: Julian Onderdonk, American Impressionist
This Memorial Day celebration will include: an Honor Guard to present the colors; a flyover of military aircraft with the missing man formation; presentations by local elected leaders and an invited speaker; a laying of a wreath on Lake Ray Hubbard by the Seawolf; Military Taps and the singing on the National Anthem. This ceremony will inspire all ages to remember the sacrifices of others and not to let their acts of courage be in vain. Veterans and citizens alike are invited to attend at Chandler’s Landing Yacht and Tennis Club.
Open to the public, the ceremony begins at noon and will last approximately 30-45 minutes. Refreshments will be offered at a reasonable price. Parking is plentiful at the Club and Marina so all can participate in this inspiring program.
